Goodooga no longer the town with no beer

Goodooga is the outback’s boom town, with roadworks, infrastructure and businesses getting a kick along from funding and optimistic investors – including the Brewarrina mayor.
Goodooga has been without a pub for more than 12 months but last weekend, the coldies were flowing, and Goodooga was once again a hive of activity.
“Everything’s happening in Goodooga, with a lot of work and a lot of jobs,” Mayor Phil ‘Ocker’ O’Connor said.
