Big crowds expected at Louth

The iconic Louth Races are looming, and despite continued dry conditions, organisers say they are confident the community will turn up in big numbers and support the event.
The Louth Races attract thousands of people from across Australia and last year celebrated 60 years of true outback racing.
The Melbourne Cup also made an appearance at Louth which organisers say probably boosted the high numbers of patrons through the gates. Six thousand people flocked to Louth to watch the 2018 races with a record 102 nominations.
