Communities in western NSW are set to receive a $22 million dollar funding injection for infrastructure programs that benefit the community and local youth, with the announcement of round three of the Stronger Country Communities Fund.

Under the fund Bourke and Bogan local government areas will receive $765,000, Brewarrina has $759,000, Cobar 776,000, and Walgett 781,000. The Unincorporated Far West area has also scored $756,000.

Minister for Western NSW Adam Marshall has encouraged locals to identify and apply for projects that will make a real difference in the community.

“The Stronger Country Communities Fund has already delivered much-needed projects and infrastructure in Western NSW and I’m absolutely delighted the NSW Government has provided additional funding for this great initiative,” Mr Marshall said.
