Prime Minister inspired by Bourke Art

A little piece of Bourke is now hanging proudly in Canberra after a visit last year by our newly re-elected Prime Minister.
As Federal Treasurer, Scott Morrison toured Bourke in August 2018 and like most visitors, made a point of going through Jenny Greentree’s Back O’Bourke Art Gallery at North Bourke.
Jenny said Mr Morrison made a personal purchase of one of her works and told her it was going to hang in “The House”.
“Last week I was thrilled to see it hanging in the PM’s office at Parliament House,” Jenny said.
“I offer congratulations to Mr Morrison on retaining government in the election and may the inspiration and vision that drew him to the painting, strengthen and guide him as he leads our wonderful country.”
Jenny’s works now hang in some of the most prestigious halls and boardrooms in the country, a reminder of the beauty and talent to be found in Bourke and the Outback.
Congratulations Jenny!
