Air service for Bourke closer

Tenders have now closed for a new airline operator for Bourke, Cobar, Walgett and Lightning Ridge.

Bourke Council General Manager Ross Earl said it will take some time to assess the tenders, and for the successful applicant to get all the necessary infrastructure and resources in place.
