The Colts travelled to Louth at the weekend in what was a hot and windy game. Louth won the toss and batted first losing two early wickets before regrouping and going to drinks at 3/50. Louth put together a number of good partnerships throughout the innings finishing all out for 182. Colts bowlers struggled to bowl consistently going for 35 sundries. Bryce Robinson, better known as Fats, took his first ever wicket clean bowling Mitch Sheffield. Louth best batters were Daniel Angel 44, Lauchlan Strachan 29, Hugo Ridge 35. Colts best bowlers were Leighlan Brown 3/23 (2.2 overs), Brendan Shailes 2/17 (8 overs). Read more in the printed edition of the Western Herald.
