Five million dollars in funding for tourism infrastructure has been set aside for Bourke, Cobar and Walgett as part of the agreement to form a Joint Organisation and councils are being urged to get feedback from their communities about how to best use the windfall.

Air services are almost certain to get off the ground in the New Year with tenders being advertised later this month.

How to spend the five million dollars on the tourism projects that will benefit is the task ahead, according to Member for Barwon Kevin Humphries.
