The Bourke Garden Club’s Spring Flower and Geranium Show on Saturday was a huge success with 332 entries and a good crowd in attendance.

Garden Club President Jackie Davis said she was very pleased with the number of entries, and said that the new venue worked very well.

“We say a big thank you to Anne-Marie & Phillip Parnaby and Diggers-on-the-Darling for the use of the amazing big hall and the facilities” Jackie said

Judge Lillian Simpson from Cobar said the displays were excellent considering the drought and water restrictions.

“There were a wide variety of entries and the quality was surprising.”

Congratulations to Barb Cunningham who took out the Champion Spring Flower with a spectacular white Flag Iris.
