Black Fit brings former Bourke boy home for NAIDOC Week

A former Bourke boy returns to his hometown to celebrate NAIDOC week this week, and he’s bringing with him a commitment to help other young indigenous people.

Joshua Toole is now 29 and left Bourke when he was 12, studying at boarding school and university and working with the Department of Education, before eventually building a successful fitness and lifestyle brand, BlackFit.

He is now back in Bourke to spread the message embodied in his BlackFit program - respect for culture and a commitment to healthy living.
