Aboriginal tours host delegation

Two Bourke brothers were this week the centre of attention when a delegation of tourism experts and stakeholders visited the region following last week’s historic cross-border tourism agreement.

Jason and Joseph Dixon run the Bourke Aboriginal Cultural tours and on Monday morning hosted a group which included some of tourism’s most influential leaders, including General Manager of Destinations Country and Outback NSW Rhonda Taylor, National Parks representatives and state government officials as well as Aboriginal tourism operators from other regions, on a walking tour along the banks of the Darling River.
