Pamper Day is more than skin deep

An innovative program to pamper indigenous women who rarely have time for themselves is proving a huge success at the Bourke Aboriginal Health Service.

The Pamper Day on Tuesday attracted more than 40 women who had the rare treat of having their hair styled, nails manicured and generally getting some much needed TLC.

The Pamper Day has a purpose that is more than skin deep, though, according to BAHS CEO Barbara Flick.
