Voters in the Barwon electorate will have a choice of four candidates in next year’s state election, and a choice of four differing political viewpoints.

Sitting member Kevin Humphries announced his retirement late last year and nominations for the seat closed last week.

The candidates are Nationals hopeful Andrew Schier from Gilgandra, Shooters Fishers and Farmers Party candidate Roy Butler, Independent Phillip Naden also of Gilgandra and outspoken Labor mayor for Broken Hill Darriea Turley. Photo: WH
