Inland Rivers Network takes legal action against Barwon-Darling Irrigator

The Inland Rivers Network is taking legal action in the Land and Environment Court to force irrigator Peter Harris to return more than five gigalitres of water to the Barwon-Darling River.

The Inland Rivers Network (IRN) allege that the water was pumped in breach of licensing conditions from the river system in 2014-15 and 2015-16 — accusations Mr Harris has strongly denied.
