150th Annual Bourke Show this Saturday

The annual Bourke Show is on this weekend with plenty of attractions to enjoy while celebrating the Show’s 150th anniversary.

Mayor of the Bourke Shire, Councillor Barry Hollman is encouraging as many people as possible to attend the Bourke Show.

“It’s a wonderful day out there,” Mr Hollman said. “There’s plenty to see and plenty to do and this year will be no exception.

“It’s always an event to look forward to, and it is great to see people from out of town come in for the day and talk to one another about what’s going on in their own communities.”

Mr Hollman said the Bourke Show Society committee had done an excellent job in organising the special celebration.

“Well done to the Bourke Show committee, and I encourage every Bourke resident to go out there on the Saturday,” Mr Hollman said. […]
