Yarning Up at Bourke Public School

The entire cohort of Bourke Public School enjoyed the chance to get together last week and celebrate the start of a new school year.
Principal of Bourke Public School, Margaret Gordon-Poole said the annual event was always popular and rebranding it as the ‘Yarn Up’ worked extremely well.
“We had a great night for the Yarn Up and welcome barbecue, inviting retuning and new families to our school,” she said. “It was held on the top playground and staff set up games and activities for the children and families.” […]
