rewarrina/Bourke Brumbies headed to Cobar for Round 6 of the Western Plains Rugby Union Competition last Saturday.

After the morning ritual of a pie and a Splashe at Morrall’s Bakery, the team made the short trip. Cobar Camels hosted a day dedicated to the R U OK movement and we commend them for their awesome effort. Well done Cobar Rugby.

The Brumbies gave their all in the main game, 80 minutes of rough and tough rugby from the first whistle to the last.

Joash Mann and Ben Orcher both came out of retirement and pulled the boots on for a run, and both had an absolute cracker of a game.

It wasn’t long before Rory Finlayson busted through the defence line to put the first points on the board for the Brumbies.

Back to the 50m line for kick off and Rams had some back and forth with the Camels with some big hits being thrown. A few plays and the ball ended up with Clynton Edwards who did what he needed to do and put it over the try line. Baden Barker converted straight over the black dot.
