Last week the Bourke committee of the Aboriginal Education Consultative Group (AECG) met at the Bourke High School Library.

The AECG promotes respect, empowerment, equality, and self-determination, and work together with the NSW Education Department

Meeting in weeks 4 and 8 each term this volunteer organisation supports families and young people at meetings and can provide an advocate or support person.

Maxine Mackay, President of the Bourke AECG said anyone can join the association with an annual membership fee of just $2.
