Rugby Union – Janalee wraps up a winning season
Brewarrina’s Janalee Conroy has had a football season that has seen success after success, and this week she notched up another one, by being named NSW Country Rugby Union’s Player of the Year.
The award is given to one male and one female player and is determined by an accumulation of points, voted for by the managers and coaches after each game during the Australian Rugby Shield in Adelaide.
At the end of the campaign, the points tally leads to the awarding of the Will Tanner Award for the Cockatoos Rugby Union men’s team and the Corellas women’s team.
