Pro Rodeo takes out Bourke’s Community Event of the Year

Following a break of 23 years, pro-rodeo returned to Bourke on 14 October 2023 with the staging of the Peter Simmonds Memorial, Back O’Bourke Stampede Pro-Rodeo.

The Pro- Rodeo was postponed on two occasions during 2022 due to rain and floods across western NSW.

Unperturbed, the hard working, all volunteer committee presented an event that was not only a huge success, with over 2,000 people attending, but an event that firmly re-established pro-rodeo in Bourke, bringing great credit to the Bourke Community.[…]
