Plan ahead for cultural tours at Brewarrina

Brewarrina Aboriginal Cultural Museum

The Brewarrina Aboriginal Cultural Museum is one of the ‘must stops’ on the tourist trail across the NSW outback.

Centre manager and tour guide, Bradley Hardy is at the helm of the museum and is busy driving interest in Brewarrina’s rich cultural heritage.

Bradley never tires of telling the story of the history of Aboriginal people, the fish traps, their relationship to the river and environment.

Now, he hopes to build on the services provided by the Cultural Museum, with the addition this week of a new coffee cart, and in the next few weeks, the completion of an indoor cinema.

“We’ve had a pretty good season and there’s been plenty of activity, with some big tours still to come this month and into October,” Bradley said.

“We’ve been getting good numbers to our tours, which are available four times a day on weekdays, and twice on Saturdays, and we’re looking forward to getting the coffee cart going in the next few weeks which will be an added service for anyone on the tours.{…]
