Healthy Kids Bus Stop for pre-schoolers
Parents are being encouraged to make the most of the Royal Far West Healthy Kids Bus Stop later this month.
John Reid is communications manager for Royal Far West and says the service allows families in remote communities access to screening for their children before they start school.
“It’s a screening program for 3–5-year-olds to pick up any developmental issues before the child starts school,” Mr Reid said.
“We’ll bring out a speech pathologist and an occupational therapist, the Royal Flying Doctor will provide an oral health service and we hope to have an audiologist from the Local Health District as well.
