Colourful start TO Easter Festival in Bourke!
The traditional St Ignatius Parish School ‘Colour Run’ brightened up the streets, not to mention all the competitors who ran or walked through town, prepared to be sprayed by water and colour.
Principal of the school, Una Taylor said the five-kilometre from the Bourke Wharf precinct to the Back O’Bourke Exhibition Centre and back was “wonderful and a lot of fun.”
“It was great to see so many families getting involved,” she said. “We had mums and dads, nans and pops and children on shoulders and in strollers.” […]
