Charlotte is bringing dance to Bourke
A new opportunity to learn dance movements locally.
The chance for local children to get involved in dance and physical movement is now possible in Bourke.
On Wednesday October 18th, the grand opening of Physie Dance took place at St Ignatius School Hall.
A teacher at St Ignatius Parish School, Charlotte McGrory moved to Bourke in 2022 and has now formed Bourke Physie, a brand-new dance club opening this term.
Ms McGrory said she knew the closest form of dance lessons for Bourke kids is over an hour away and decided that Physie could be a great addition to the Bourke community.
“I am incredibly grateful for the support of the Bourke community,” Ms McGrory said. “There are currently over 60 expressions of interest, and many messages from community members offering their help and support.”
