Congratulations to Will Mitchell, Kelly Harrod, Abbey Warwick, and Brittney Knight on passing their Certificate III in Early Childhood Education!

The staff at Bourke & District Children’s Services are proud of their hard work and dedication to their studies.

Bourke & District Children’s Services Human Resources Manager Karen Waller said that completing a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) is a significant achievement that equips individuals with foundational knowledge and skills in supporting the development and education of young children.

“These graduates will now be moving on to pursue a Diploma in Early Childhood Education,” Karen said.

“The diploma is a natural progression for those looking to deepen their expertise and advance their careers in this field”.

During their Diploma studies, the trainees will delve deeper into areas such as child development, curriculum planning, fostering inclusive environments, and building positive relationships with children and families.

They will also gain practical experience through placements in early childhood settings, allowing them to apply their learning in the real world.

Karen said that by embarking on this journey towards a Diploma in Early Childhood Education, the trainees are not only investing in their own professional growth but also committing to making a positive impact on the lives of young children and their families.

“The knowledge and skills they acquire will enable them to provide high-quality care and education, contributing to the holistic development and well-being of the children under their care,” she said.
