Carol Norton of Brewarrina wins Toyota RAV4

First time raffle ticket purchaser, Carol Norton from Brewarrina has won the Tour de OROC Toyota RAV 4 raffle.

David Hayes from Dubbo City Toyota announced last week that Mrs Norton had won the car raffle and would shortly be the new owner of a Toyota RAV 4.

“We had the draw in Dubbo last week – an online drawing that was streamed live. Over 1700 tickets were sold and all the funds raised are directed through the Tour de OROC towards Macquarie Home Stay.

The lucky winner of the draw was Carol Norton from Brewarrina,” Mr Hayes said.

83-year-old Mrs Norton was understandably excited about her win and has been a long-time supporter of the charity.

“I usually give a donation to the Tour de OROC because they do such a wonderful job,” she said.

“But this year I decided I would buy a raffle ticket and to actually win the car is a real bonus. When I got the phone call on Wednesday, I was really thrilled.” […]
