Cadillac ClubS wow the locals at Lightning Ridge

Car enthusiasts in Lightning Ridge had a treat last week when the Queensland and NSW Cadillac LaSalle clubs brought their classic cars to town.

Bob Durrington is the current president of the Queensland branch of the Cadillac Lasalle club and said the members spent three days touring around Lightning Ridge and checking out the sights.

The LaSalle is an American brand of luxury car that were manufactured and marketed, as a separate brand, by the General Motors Cadillac division from 1927 through 1940.

“We currently have 83 members in the Queensland club and had six Cadillacs from our group in the run,” Mr Durrington said.

“We’re really pleased to have been joined by five Cadillacs and a couple of motorcycles from the NSW branch, which makes up a nice little group.” […]
