Bourke Public School’s Easter Hat Parade last Thursday was a hit with all students turning up with colourful and creative Easter hats.

Each class formed up into two lines and paraded their hats – some school made hats and others were homemade creations.

It was obvious that many hours of work and lots of creativity went into the hats on display and the students were congratulated on their efforts.

The afternoon was Mc-ed by Miss Emma Buckley, and the judges were Amanda Smith, Kayleigh Lollback and Tyrah-Jaye Smith.

The Easter Bunny also made an appearance and was a big hit with the students – and all the younger children who came along with mums, dads, and carers.

The day ended with raffle winners and prize winners announced, and lunch for all involved.
