Bourke Easter Festival on track

Preparations for the 2022 Back O’Bourke Easter Festival are well under way with community members meeting at the Bourke Shire Council offices for the inaugural 2022 planning meeting.
There will be plenty on during the four-day festival to keep locals, tourists and those returning to visit family and friends busy and entertained.
Highlights of this year’s festival will include the Easter Colour Run, live entertainment at the Port of Bourke Hotel, a street parade and wool bale rolling competition, the Back O’Bourke picnic races and the giant easter egg hunt.
It is also a good chance for Bourke residents to become local tourists, taking the opportunity to explore their own backyard – maybe taking in a tour of the historic Dunlop Station and visiting the Back O’Bourke Gallery for the art and ceramics exhibition.
