Big smilesas Dental Care Team visits Bourke

Smiles will be a little wider and brighter in Bourke after a visit from a mobile dental service to Bourke Public and High Schools.

The clinic is a makeshift dental surgery, with two dental specialists on staff from Dental Care Australia running a three-week clinic in Bourke treating as many children as possible.

Kate McKay is the Wellbeing Health Coordinator at Bourke High and said she was thrilled at the response to the service and the treatments the dentist had been able to give the students at the High School.

“We got in touch with Dental Care Australia and asked them to deliver a service to the Bourke primary and high schools and when they visited last year they came with their own van, which was a fully equipped mobile dental surgery,” Kate said. […]
