A hopping good weekend at the Ridge
The Long Easter Weekend at Lightning Ridge smashed all attendance records, according to Lightning Ridge Tourist Association President, Andrew Kemeny.
Mr Kemeny said that he was unbelievably proud of the people of Lightning Ridge and the selfless passion that they bring to welcoming visitors and kicking off the tourist season in style.
“Initial estimates had between 3-and-4 thousand people in town with accommodation booked out as far north as Hebel and as far south as Coonamble.” […]
