Local Bourke boy, Cooper Ryan was part of the Nyngan Tigers side, who competed in the Group 11 Under 16’s Rugby League Grand Final in Dubbo last weekend.
Played at Apex Oval in Dubbo, the Nyngan Tigers took on the Dubbo St. John’s side.
Unfortunately, the Tigers went down 32-10 to St John’s.
Cooper travelled every week of the 2020 season to play with the Tigers and intends to back up and do it all again next year.
Cooper and his family wish to give a big thanks to coach Troy Richards, for giving Cooper the opportunity to continue playing football in this season.
Cooper will take a short three-week break from the game; and then head back on the road to Warren and the Far West Academy of Sport (FWAS) training squad, in preparation for season 2021.
