Junior Rugby Report – Games to be played tomorrow afternoon

It was a cold, damp day on Saturday, but the kids didn’t let that worry them, as demonstrated by another great turnout.

There was plenty of action on the field with some stellar tackles and plenty of tries scored across all three games.

Coach’s mentions for this week went to Sadler Cross, Jack Old, Zac Smith, Abbie Lawson, Jake Smith, Ned Taylor, and Tom Lienesch. Well done guys, you all had a great game.

The club is doing another jumper order this year for those that don’t have one. Please contact Fiona Bowden or register your interest on the Facebook page by Wednesday 19th August.

Another reminder that mouthguards are mandatory. Last Saturday we had a few players that still didn’t have them. All players must have a mouthguard prior to the next game.

This weekend the seniors are playing away, so we held a poll to see what everyone’s preference was for the juniors. Friday night was the winner. We will kick off at 5.30pm at Davidson Oval and finish with a BBQ dinner. This will of depend on the weather as there is rain predicted for Friday. Please keep an eye on our Facebook page for any updates.

Due to the Friday night game, there will be no training Thursday night.
