Last Wednesday 13th May 2020 was the 52nd anniversary of the Battle of Coral-Balmoral, a battle remembered locally by Annette Earl because her brother fought in that battle.
The Battle of Coral-Balmoral was a significant yet not widely known battle of the Vietnam War.
Most people can recall the battle of Long Tan, yet the battle of Coral-Balmoral is not well-known, even though in the 26-day battle, 26 Australian lives were lost and 100 other Aussie diggers were wounded.
