Works starts on Girilambone Railway restoration

A trip out west by the Deputy Premier John Barilaro late last year has had a surprising bonus for the village of Girilambone in the Bogan Shire.
The Deputy Premier found that several previously approved grants had not been paid out to projects in the Bogan Shire – and there were some very worthwhile projects on the books, awaiting the tick of approval.
Six months later and there are two significant developments as a result – the upgrade of the museum and historic SES building at Nyngan and the restoration of the old abandoned railway station at Girilambone.
