Bourke’s social, community and sporting organisations will get a shot in the arm after the long years of drought, with grants totalling more than $105,000 distributed in round two of the Drought Communities Fund.
Council General Manager Ross Earl said there had been a lot of interest from all sectors across the shire in securing funding for a variety of projects.
