Bourke puts out the welcome mat

New and old residents with service providers at the recent Welcome to Bourke gathering Photo TWH

The annual Welcome to Bourke event is a tradition in town and this year the welcome mat was out once again for the new teachers, police officers, contractors, government workers, business employees and parents now calling Bourke home.

The event was held at the Port of Bourke Hotel, with a raft of local community, sporting and social organisations on hand to explain their roles and hopefully attract new members.
