Enngonia CWA News – Enngonia CWA elects new President

The Enngonia Branch of the CWA has elected its committee, with new President Courtney Ellery at the helm.

Denise Turnbull was re-elected as Secretary and Heather Stone as Treasurer after the meeting on Saturday. Denise said it was now all hands to the wheel to get ready for this Sunday’s annual fashion parade.

She said it was refreshing to have a younger person put her hand up to take on the responsibility of the role of President and thanked Courtney for making a commitment to the branch, which was struggling to keep up member numbers.

“We need to have younger people joining to keep us going,” Denise said.
