Decorated prison guard condemns prison closure
A former high-ranking prison officer who has written a powerful book about life inside some of our toughest jails has joined the criticism of the decision to close Yetta Dhinnakkal.
David Farrell rose to an executive level with the Corrective Services and was a member of the hostage and siege teams which dealt with some of the most volatile prisoners in the state.
David was born and raised in Bourke and was in his hometown last week to catch up with old friends.
