BUSHTRACKERS SUPPORT BOURKE

A huge convoy of caravans and camper trailers converged on Bourke last week when members of the Bushtrackers Owners Group brought their philanthropy and spirit of adventure to town for their annual general meeting.
Every year, the Bushtrackers group chooses a different venue in a remote part of Australia to get down to the business of their AGM and at the same time hand over a generous donation to community groups in the host town.
Bourke was the lucky host this year, with the Bushtrackers donating $24,500 to various charities and organisations.
Murray Woolnough is President of the Bushtrackers Owners Group and he said Bourke was chosen because of the three contenders to host this year’s AGM, Bourke Council had been the most supportive when it came to putting out the welcome mat.
