Bourke continues to produce sports stars making a name for themselves at a regional and state level - and beyond.

Four Bourke rugby league players carried the flag for Bourke at the weekend after being selected for the Group 14 Southern Country Championships at Wagga Wagga.

Young Warriors Tyran Morris, Bradley Parnaby, Kobie Lollback and Cooper Ryan played two exceptional games against top class talent at the gala day event and despite going down in both games, officials and supporters said the boys played two rounds of brilliant football.

Proud dad Scott Parnaby said the event gave the boys more exposure to top level play and said it would inspire them to continue aiming high in their sport.
