Chris Dover back at 2WEB


Chris Dover is back at 2WEB after an absence of 27 years Photo TWH

After a 27 year absence, accomplished radio announcer Chris Dover is back behind the microphone at Outback Radio 2WEB.

Chris first graced the outback airwaves at the tender age of 22, way back in 1992.

At that time Chris spent about 12 months as 2WEB’s breakfast announcer, before leaving to take up the job of Music Director of 4MK, McKay, Queensland.

Since then Chris has worked at various radio stations, including 4CC Gladstone, 2LT Lithgow and as the presenter of Australian Radio Network’s top 40 program “Rock Poll”.

He also spent 4 years in the NSW Police Service and another 17 years as an officer with the Australian Federal Police Protective Service.
