Anzac Spirit alive in Bourke youth

The people of the Bourke district turned out in large numbers, despite boggy roads in some parts, to pay their respects on Anzac Day.
In Bourke, more than 100 people attended the Dawn Service with more than 250 people turning out for the 11am morning service in Central Park.
It was a moving ceremony, with local organisations and community members laying wreaths to honour those Bourke servicemen and women who served and made the ultimate sacrifice.
A large number of young people attended the main ceremony, and many addressed the service with poems and tributes representatives of their schools.
Twelve year old Bourke lad, Isaac Ford gave the occasional address at the morning service, with a moving speech belying his tender years.
