Emu Runner Wins another film award

The movie Emu Runner, filmed on location in Brewarrina, has taken out the PKF Best Australian Independent Film.

Writer and first-time director Imogen Thomas, Aboriginal script consultant Frayne Barker and the entire cast and crew were honoured with the award, which was nominated by fellow film makers in the Peer Award category.

The award will join a number of others in the trophy cabinet, and includes $1,000 in cash from PKF Gold Coast and Blackmagic Design DaVinci Resolve Studio 15 equipment.
