ICPA pleads for bush kids

Children are being impacted by the drought as parents struggle with extreme hardships.

That was the message from Isolated Children’s Parents Association delegates attending the 47th Conference in Buronga this month.

The conference, hosted by the Wentworth Branch, acknowledged that country parents were determined to give their children a fair go in education but their efforts are overshadowed by the impact of a crippling drought on bush education.
