Wanaaring Road gets more money for upgrade

The Wanaaring Road upgrade has been given a boost with a new round of funding for works totalling more than four and a half million dollars.

Member for Barwon Kevin Humphries handed over the cheque to Mayor of Bourke Barry Hollman during what is likely to be Mr Humphries final visit as the sitting member for the electorate.

“This is money that is committed to the project, it’s there and ready to go and should enable Council to complete at least half of the project.
