Medical students consider Bourke

A visit to Bourke can be a life-changing and career defining experience, according to two students who have elected to get a taste of the Outback.
Trainee speech pathologist Sarah Bose and nursing student Jessica Barton both come from Southern Cross University and both admit Bourke is the furthest they’ve ever travelled inland.
They have a placement at the Bourke Pre School and said the learning curve was steep but the outcome was worth it.
