Danielle makes Bourke home

It was World Pathology Day on Wednesday and while that may not strike a chord with everyone it means a lot to one of Bourke’s newest and most valuable citizens.

Danielle Whiting is the senior supervising scientist and Laboratory Manager at Bourke Hospital and after 14 months in the job she has decided to make Bourke home.

“My job will be advertised as a permanent position at the end of my secondment in a couple of months and I have already told my supervisor I will be applying for it,” Danielle said.
