ICPA bats for isolated kids

Better training for teachers working in isolated rural schools, changes to bus services and accommodation for travelling students and families were among the items on the agenda when members of the Isolated Children Parent’s Association headed to Sydney this week.

Four members of the Far West ICPA had a series of meetings with NSW politicians, bureaucrats and influential organisations to put the case for schools, teachers and families living in the Far West.

Part of their mission was to follow through on recommendations that came out of the ICPA state conference earlier in the year.
