The North Bourke area is being transformed, with play equipment and new toilet facilities completed at the North Bourke Oval, and a new boat ramp underway.

The construction of the new boat ramp is funded by the Roads and Maritime Services, under the “Better Boating Program”.

The project is one of several in Bourke at the moment employing local contractors as well as Council staff and boosting the local job economy.
