Nationals candidate looks to main streets to boost local economies

We have to save the main street business centres of country towns according to Nationals candidate for the Barwon electorate Andrew Schier.
Mr Schier has been covering the vast distances of the Barwon electorate in the lead up to next year’s state election and said preserving main street economies in regional towns is one of the issues he’s passionate about.
Andrew is a poultry farmer and also manages a cattle and cropping farm and said the drought was hurting not just landholders, but every sector of the economy.
“That’s why putting money back into local projects is vital to shoring up local businesses,” Andrew said.
